Biography: Maoloud Dabab is delighted to join the multicultural community of the International Cultural Service Program as a Libyan cultural messenger. He came to the U.S. in Jan 2015 starting as an IELP student. Maoloud has a BA in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Tripoli, Libya. His master’s study in the Engineering and Technology Management was the first step at PSU, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at ETM-PSU. As a part of his daily life, he works on campus at the Office of Information Technology, and just recently he obtained a Student Employee Award Nomination Certificate. He is also a member of the Omega Rho International Honor Society, PSU Chapter.
 

His interpersonal skills have helped him to build successful relationships with a lot of people. He is very grateful to have the privilege to be one of the members of the ICSP. After he completes his degree, his ultimate goal is to be in upper-level management for the telecommunication sector in his country.


For fun, Maoloud likes traveling, meeting new people, discovering new cultures, and loves to
get outside and enjoys the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest. He believes that his most favorite activity in Portland is hiking on trails and meditating while sightseeing. He is really looking forward to the opportunities and new experiences that he will get with this position.
