The Application Form is completed in WorldLink. Log in to WorldLink using your ODIN and under the University Scholarships menu, select "ICSP Application" to begin the application form. As part of the application, you will include the following essays and supplemental information:
Personal Statement: A short (500 words) essay in pdf format introducing yourself and describing your goals for the future. This may include, but is not limited to; academic or career goals, the impact ICSP would have on your professional development, and how a degree from PSU will assist you in fulfilling your goals.
Financial Need Statement: A short (250 words) essay explaining your financial situation. This may include, but is not limited to; changes in your financial support and a detailing of your expenses and finances. Bank statements do not need to be included. ICSP is a merit-based scholarship. Financial need will be taken into consideration but will not be the primary reason for selection.
Cultural Identity Essay: A short (500 words) essay describing how you view your culture and how it has impacted your perspective and identity.
One sample cultural presentation in PDF format. This can be created using Powerpoint, Google slides, or other format but must be uploaded as a PDF. It should be approximately 5 minutes worth of spoken material about a topic that is unique to your culture and personal to you.
The names and email addresses of two recommenders. When you provide the email addresses, your recommenders will be sent an email with a link to complete the recommendation form for you. You will receive an email when they have completed the form. You are responsible for making sure your recommenders submit these forms in English by the deadline.
Your recommenders should fit the following qualifications:
must complete the forms within the six months before your application
at least one recommender should be a staff member or instructor from a school in the U.S. (both forms may not be completed by references from your home country)
are not advisors or staff from the Office of International Student and Scholar Services at PSU.
are not your peers, family, or friends.
at least one recommender should be from a source who can speak to your academic performance, such as an advisor or professor.

ICSP Applications are accepted once a year in the spring term.

Deadlines are strictly enforced. Applications turned in after the deadline will not be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications missing one or more reference forms are considered incomplete.
