Biography: My name is Megan Cho. I am studying MA TESOL, Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I was born and raised in Seoul, a capital city of South Korea. Seoul is very interesting and modern city where everything moves fast including people, services, and trends, etc. You will fall in love with this city as you can experience very unique culture of its own.
I traveled and lived in many countries for business and personal interest including Australia, Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, China, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Qatar, Romania, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, Thailand, UAE, UK, and USA. The biggest lesson from the travels is love. All people are equal and deserve to be loved. Therefore, I decided to come to the United States to study MA TESOL to learn professional teaching skills. Teaching is very beautiful job that connects me to many people all over the world and allows me sharing my knowledge with the people, especially who are in need of help.
I feel very lucky to be studying in the liberal city of Portland, which is famous for its fairness to diverse cultures and rich social welfare programs. I am experiencing how it all works which will be very helpful to my future career and my personal life as well. I am very excited to introduce and share Korean culture to the community through ICSP. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
