Biography: I was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Southern Vietnam. Since my parents are both from the North, I have had opportunities to visit their hometown every year where I learnt distinct culture, tasted unique food, and lived in countryside with refreshing atmosphere. 

 

I came to Portland since I was 16 years old. I received a diploma with a honored award from Portland Christian Jr/High School. Having lived in this friendly Portland for almost 2 years, I decided to pursue a Bachelor of Science, focusing on Biochemistry at Portland State University. My goal is to become a pharmacist, and I am in processing of applying for pharmacy schools. 

 

I have been volunteering at the clinic, drug store, and hospital since High School and interacting with diverse culture at PSU and community where I realize how important a little help could reach deeply to one's heart. In addition, I am currently an International Student Mentor, who helps and guides new incoming students. 

 

I am grateful to be a part of ICSP members. I believe introducing my culture to international friends will help me grow both personally and professionally.
