Biography: JJ was born in South Korea, but grew up in both the U.S. and his home country. He graduated from Tualatin High School in the suburbs of Portland and started his college education at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. After a couple of years, he took some time off from going to school and taught English in Seoul, South Korea. He transferred to Portland State University in the spring of 2013 and has been growing as a student and a person ever since. JJ works as a DeskCore staff member at the Queer Resource Center on campus and is very excited to be able to share his unique experiences with a wider variety of people through ICSP.
