Biography: I come from southern India, raised in the busy streets of Chennai, formerly known as Madras, which is the capital of Tamil Nadu state. My home state is also known as the “Gateway to South India”, Chennai is a major administrative and cultural center. Warm and welcoming, the city has become home to many communities that moved here in the hope of opportunities. Tamil Nadu not only holds rich cultures and traditions but also has provided The Tamil language, which is recognized as the oldest language in the world. It is still actively practiced, and in fact, it is my mother tongue.

Back in my city, I lived with my parents and grandparents. I completed my Bachelor of Engineering and worked for a couple of years to gain some professional experience. I am also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. I was always passionate about engineering and decided to do my master's degree from a different country not only with my mindset on obtaining the best possible education, but also to explore the various dimensions and cultures of the world. Upon reaching Portland, I was impressed by the cultural diversity and, I felt very pleased by how welcoming the society and university was. I was well informed about various cultures on my arrival and had the opportunity to share some of my own.

I am honored to be a part of ICSP and, I consider this to be a wonderful platform for me to connect with people and peers from different parts of the world and get to know the importance of their culture and lifestyle. Every aspect of India is unique, and I wish to be an ambassador of my culture and share my customs and traditions.
