Biography: My name is Mingze Gao. My friends like to call me Rebecca. I came to Portland State University in 2014, I love the environment and people here. My goal is to be a skilled auditing accountant because that everything in this world is very well organized and managed clearly is quite a thrill for me, and I can enjoy this feeling from my everyday study, it is fascinating although hard as well. My dream life is also consistent with a stable and happy family with my husband, three kids, and two dogs. 

 

My hometown is in the Northeast of China, which is famous as the coldest area in China. My hometown is Changchun, which is a beautiful name that means evergreen. It is located in the coldest part of China. What I love most about my hometown is the amazing food and the pure, heavy snow in the winter.

 

I grew up in China and was influenced deeply by its culture and thoughts which make me a typical Chinese. I love calligraphy, history and Chinese dancing. These hobbies give me a great knowledge of China and build me to a good presenter to introduce my country. I love cooking as well, I love sharing my skills to friends and learning more about international cuisines. That is always fun and enjoyable. Also, as a hard-working student, I want to make congenial international friends in ICSP and help ICSP to achieve its goal.
