Biography: Natalia was born and raised in a small town near Bogotá, Colombia. Bogotá is the capital of Colombia, located in the center of the country and known for it's nightlife, international business and travelling. She went to an international high school where she learned the importance of sharing and learning about different cultures. When she was 17, her parents provided her with the opportunity to travel to the U.S. to start her undergraduate education. Her family has always been extremely supportive of her dreams, and for that she will always be grateful. She went to the College of San Mateo and lived in the Bay Area for two years before transferring to Portland State University.
Here in Portland she has found an extremely rich an accepting community filled with wonderful people. The music scene in Portland has inspired her to be more involved with the community and learn more about different cultures and their artistic values. As a member of ICSP she hopes to teach others about Colombian culture and looks forward to learn from other ICSP members and the community as well.
