Biography:  My name is Otto Holtari, and I was born and raised in Espoo, Finland. The city is located right next to Helsinki, which is the capital of Finland and where I used to spend most of my days at school, practicing tennis, or performing my military service.

I came to Portland in 2017 in order to study finance at Portland State University (PSU) and to play NCAA Division 1 tennis for PSU Vikings. Throughout the years I have been in Portland, I have been able to meet people from all around the world, as there have been many international students in my classes and our tennis team consisted of players from almost every continent. This has been extremely enriching for me from a cultural standpoint, and it has enabled me to make connections that will last a lifetime.

In June 2021, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance, and got accepted into the Master of Science in Finance program at PSU. On top of that, I am also excited to be a member of the ICSP, so that I can continue to learn about different cultures.
